Plan before artwork

Decisions that affect the useful format.

1

Flat or folded

Choose trim only, half-fold, tri-fold, or Z-fold in the calculator. Score plus half-fold is available when heavier stock needs a cleaner fold.

2

Finished and flat size

Artwork must account for the flat press sheet as well as the finished dimensions, fold panels, trim, and any content that crosses a fold.

3

Distribution method

Handouts, counter displays, inserts, sales leave-behinds, and mailpieces create different needs for stock, folding, address space, packing, and durability.

4

Response mechanism

URLs, QR codes, reply panels, forms, and remittance components need usable space and production review. Test the action before releasing final files.
